Tulip Time Tour
May 7– May 10, 2006 ~ Tulip Time in Holland, Michigan! Mark your calendars for this fun filled springtime get away! As we arrive in Holland, Michigan our tour begins with the Velheer Tulip Gardens, Holland’s only tulip farm will be ablaze with 30 acres of color and 5 million tulips (5 Million WOW!) We will tour a wooden shoe factory and see the only delftware factory in the USA. We will step back in time to the Netherlands of the 1800’s as we explore over 10 acres of authentic Dutch architecture, canals, and spectacular gardens! At the entrance to the park, the 25 bell carillon from Royal Eijsbouts will greet you. A palette of color awaits us as we wind along the entrance to Holland’s treasured island. De Zwaan windmill welcomes you to take a closer look at the only authentic Dutch windmill operating in the United States. We’ll also enjoy Klompen Dancers, a Dutch choir and many authentic Dutch foods. As we head for home we’ll tour Reiman Publications in Glendale, WI with a step on guide, a tour of the publication visitors center (which is a fabulous place!) and see the test kitchens.
